Excitement rose at the football game Friday Sept. 24, 2010, when Wilcox County High School crowned their new Homecoming Queen. The Homecoming court consisted of the following girls: Brianna Bonner, LaPorsche’ Cross, Sara Hall, Alanna Harris, Rebekka Ledford, Aashia Maloy, Jalisa McKinney, Valeri Munford, and Amanda Ussery.
Freshman Sweethearts: Mollie Keene and Hailey Fletcher, Sophomore Sweethearts: Lindsey Ponder and Quanesha Wallace, Junior Sweethearts: Dixie Edalgo and Nastashia James appeared on the football field Friday night as well.
The WCHS Homecoming King was Nick Marshall. He was chosen king on earlier in the month. The new WCHS Homecoming Queen is Rebekka Ledford. Rebekka was crowned by the previous Homecoming Queen, Jenna Kennedy. The first runner up was Sara Hall. The second runner up was Amanda Ussery.
